Android and iOS devices aren't nearly as powerful as home consoles or PCs, so one has to imagine that the Android and iOS versions have a tough road ahead of them.

Then again, it's possible that these versions of the game will be able to avoid some of the pitfalls that the console version did, as the developers now know of some of the more egregious problems that need ironed out before the collection is released on mobile.

Re-releases of older games will be enough to satisfy some Rockstar Games fans, but it's safe to say that the majority of its fans are ready to see what's next from the studio. Rockstar Games has not provided any kind of announcement about the next game it's making, but whatever it is, fans shouldn't expect to play it this year.

However, even though it's highly unlikely that the next Rockstar Games title will be playable this year, there is a chance that fans will at least get to see it in some capacity. There are rumors that Rockstar Games will reveal its next project at some point later in While no official word on any upcoming titles has been spoken by the company, the looming presence of a new console generation and reports of a Holiday release date for the PS5 means Rockstar has only a little time left before people will begin expecting them to be working on a next-gen title.

As reported by ComicBook , Rockstar Games was working on several unannounced projects as recently as , according to former Rockstar India employee Angith Jayarajan.

Jayarajan said he worked on multiple titles during his time at Rockstar, which included Red Dead Redemption 2 and " a couple of games" he says he isn't allowed to talk about yet, prompting a flurry of speculation as to whether he is referring to an upcoming sequel to one of Rockstar Games' past franchises or something new altogether. This isn't the first time a Rockstar India employee has mentioned upcoming, but not officially announced, Rockstar projects in their portfolios.

Abhinav Raj Karanwal, a Senior Animator for the company, attributes " Unannounced Games for consoles " alongside Red Dead Redemption 2 in the list of projects they worked on during their time at Rockstar India, which according to their portfolio started in July and continues to the present day. That said, it sounds like one could be due a revival, though perhaps not the revival fans would want. During a recent investors call, the parent company of Rockstar Games Take-Two Interactive name-dropped one of these series, and it's not quite clear why.

Of course, the one standout here is Midnight Club. Every other series here is ongoing and core to Take-Two Interactive's portfolio, minus Midnight Club. Maybe he has worked on the basic outline before he departed.
